5 Signs Your Spirit Guides Are Trying To Communicate With You

Each and every one of us has Spirit Guides or Guardian Angels surrounding us, waiting to help us and trying to communicate with us. Everyone. They do not reserve their service for only special people. They are available to us all.

And sometimes, they try and get our attention, but we ignore them. We don’t recognize what’s happening. We may notice some things that seem strange or out of the ordinary, but rarely do people investigate further.

If you’re open to their signs though, they can give you tremendous support, encouraging words and a general feeling of being loved.

Below I’ve listed 5 different kinds of signs I’ve experienced where my Spirit Guides were tapping me on the shoulder saying “Yoohoo! We’re here!”

This happens to me most often when I’m meditating. When this happens, I like to investigate why. I do that by taking pen to paper and inviting my Spirit Guides to guide my pen as they download their message to me.

Some call this automatic writing. The pen just takes on a power of its own and starts writing. It’s very cool.

It often results in me writing one of my many “My Spirit Guides Want You To Know This” stories. These messages are given to me, I believe, so that I can share them with others.

Usually, when someone experiences a coincidence, they react by saying something like “How weird is that?” and then don’t bother to think about the answer.

It’s not weird. It’s your Spirit Guides trying to get your attention.

Only yesterday I thought of a Netflix show that I had watched a few years back. 

It was called Sense8. It was about a group of eight people scattered around the world who had this sort of psychic connection. They could feel each other’s emotions, and then they could actually inhabit, or jump, into that person’s body to help them out of a difficult situation, relying on a particular skill the “jumper” had which the “jumpee” lacked.

I thought, “That’s weird, I haven’t thought of that show in a while,” and then dismissed it.

Then, a few hours later, I’m on X (Twitter), and I see one of those posts that says, “Post a gif of….” This particular one said “Post a gif of a show that you’ve watched every episode of, but still watch now to keep you company”.

I was seconds away from posting a gif of The Big Bang Theory in response, when I noticed the gif the original poster used.

Yep, it was of Sense8. The one above.

How weird is that?

It’s not weird. It’s a message. 

As it only happened yesterday (as of my writing this story), it’s a thread I haven’t pulled at yet. But I will.

The very subject of this show is just too compelling to not believe this nudge came from my Spirit Guides.

You follow a trail that leads you to an epiphany. You weren’t expecting this trail to appear, and you have no idea where it will lead you until you have this “Aha” moment.

Years ago, I was in a bookstore, looking for a specific cookbook. Once found, I decided to browse a bit. Within seconds, I was drawn to a book called The Secret.

It was all about the Law of Attraction.

I was fascinated. I looked into this law of attraction thing, and found many teachers and writers who could help me learn more.

One of those teachers was Esther Hicks. Through meditation and raising her vibrations, she is able to communicate messages from her Spirit Guides, who collectively call themselves Abraham, to a wider audience. Her experience gave me the curiousity to try and contact my own Spirit Guides. They call themselves Efram, and they’re behind all the messages from “My Spirit Guides” that I post.

This trail of breadcrumbs I followed, from finding The Secret in a bookstore to learning how to contact my Spirit Guides, was laid down by them.

Many years ago, I started seeing the number 917. It was everywhere. So obvious, that I told other people about it. I saw it on licence plates, in phone numbers, even an elevator that only went from floors 9–17.

About a year later, I started dating my now husband and at some point I shared this story with him.

Now, my husband is a bit of a hoarder. He likes to find things and sell them on. One day, while cleaning out his shed, he called my name.

I looked over at him, and he was holding three numbers. (They were numbers that you put on a house.) His intention was to sell them to people who lived at, you guessed it, either numbers 9, 1, 7, 17, 91, 97…you get the idea.

But of all the numbers he could have had, these were the only three he had.

Amazing!

I took it as a sign (one of many) that this was the guy for me.

One minute you’re feeling one emotion and swoosh! out of nowhere, you feel an unexpected surge of a different emotion.

This happened to me minutes before my mother’s funeral. Sitting in a room at the church just before the service was due to begin, I started to panic. I thought I was seconds away from “freaking out” when:

SWOOSH!

An undeniable surge of peace and serenity completely swept over me. That was my Spirit Guides, my Guardian Angels, and yes Mom, taking over to help me.

“We’re here, we got this.”

It was incredible. And powerful. I knew something otherwordly had just happened to me.

It was a sign I couldn’t and didn’t ignore.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. I don’t think the number exists for how many different ways your Spirit Guides could communicate with me. These are just 5 ways that happened to me.
